AdAgency ("we", "us") is an Australian marketing agency. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It covers this website, theadagency.com.au, and the enquiries and campaigns we run.

2. What we collect

Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, business name and details about your project when you contact us, book a strategy call, or respond to one of our ads.

Information collected automatically — technical and usage data such as your device type, browser, pages visited and how you found us. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel) where installed.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — website hosting (Cloudflare), analytics (Google), advertising platforms (Meta), and scheduling tools — and where the law requires it.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (including Google, Meta and Cloudflare) store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use providers that maintain recognised privacy and security standards.

6. Cookies and how to opt out

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics via Google's opt-out browser add-on, and manage how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook ad preferences. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

8. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@theadagency.com.au. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we'll respond promptly. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
